description
The XCS-2 Dual-Lift Elevating Platform Vehicle is a specialized piece of equipment independently developed and designed by our company, specifically tailored for the unique operational environments of non-coal mine tunnels and shafts. Drawing upon advanced technologies both domestically and internationally, the XCS-2 is purpose-built to meet the demanding conditions of underground tunnel construction.
This vehicle features an articulated chassis design, which provides a small turning radius and high ground clearance, ensuring superior maneuverability and off-road capability. Powered by a high-performance Cummins engine, it delivers strong power output, lightweight body design, and excellent gradeability—effectively meeting the complex transportation and working conditions of mine tunnels.
Depending on operational needs, the platform supports two lifting mechanisms: a scissor lift that reaches up to [X] meters and a boom lift reaching up to [Y] meters, accommodating different tunnel height requirements. The structure is made of high-strength structural steel, with key components undergoing rigorous strength verification to ensure operational safety with a high safety margin.
The driving and control systems are designed with ergonomics in mind. A sealed, air-conditioned cab and centralized control interface provide operators with a convenient, comfortable, and user-friendly working environment.
The vehicle’s exterior finish is treated with high-standard shot blasting and anti-corrosion primer coating, reaching marine-grade standards. This ensures excellent rust and corrosion resistance, significantly extending the service life of the equipment under harsh working conditions.

Application Scenarios and Fields of the XCS-2 Dual-Lift Elevating Platform Vehicle
การ XCS-2 Dual-Lift Elevating Platform Vehicle is engineered for high-risk, confined, and variable-height operational environments typically found in non-coal mining tunnel projects. Its dual-lift configuration—comprising both a scissor lift and a telescopic or articulated boom—offers flexible working heights, making it suitable for a broad range of underground applications.
Key Application Scenarios:
-
Tunnel Construction and Maintenance
Ideal for operations such as ventilation duct installation, cable laying, lighting installation, structural inspection, and concrete lining repair in horizontal and inclined tunnels. -
Shaft and Drift Projects
Provides reliable platform access in vertical or sloped mining shafts, drifts, and cross-cuts, enabling efficient performance of mechanical, electrical, or structural works. -
Underground Equipment Installation
Supports precise positioning and installation of large underground infrastructure, including support arches, piping systems, power distribution cabinets, and monitoring equipment. -
Low-Clearance Working Environments
Especially effective in operations that require variable height access within limited overhead space, such as subway construction zones, hydropower station caverns, and industrial culverts. -
Emergency Response and Repair
Can be deployed rapidly for emergency maintenance or rescue operations in case of equipment failure, tunnel collapse, or power system damage in underground facilities.
Applicable Fields:
-
Non-coal Mining Projects (e.g., metal mines, salt mines)
-
Underground Rail Transit Construction
-
Hydropower and Pumped Storage Projects
-
Highway and Railway Tunnel Engineering
-
Large-scale Underground Warehouses and Infrastructure Projects
With its robust off-road capability, high-power engine, and dual-lifting mechanisms, the XCS-2 is a versatile and indispensable tool for various complex underground engineering operations, ensuring both safety and operational efficiency under extreme conditions.
