Chinese construction machinery accelerates its overseas expansion to expand into Southeast Asian markets

The reporter learned from the organizing committee of the Changsha International Construction Machinery Exhibition on the 22nd that the 3rd Hunan Equipment and Manufacturing Entering ASEAN Investment Expo and the Southeast Asia Branch of Changsha International Construction Machinery Exhibition 2024 opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the same day.

The three-day exhibition is themed “High-end, Intelligent, Green-a New Generation of Construction Machinery”. It has five professional exhibition areas for construction machinery, mining machinery, construction machinery, construction machinery accessories, and agricultural machinery. More than 100 exhibitors and thousands of exhibits show new products, new technologies, and new concepts of construction machinery to global merchants.

The Southeast Asia branch of the Changsha International Construction Machinery Exhibition has been held for two sessions. This exhibition attracted more than 60 Southeast Asian business associations to participate in the group. At the opening ceremony, a total of 6 procurement projects were signed, involving the procurement of mainframes and accessories. The total amount of procurement contracts signed by 6 companies including Sany Heavy Industry, Zoomlion, Liugong, Sanhe Intelligent, Jiuwu Intelligent, and Shandong Qiyun was 160 million yuan.
The exhibition will also hold the Southeast Asian Engineering Machinery and Mining Machinery Cooperation and Development Forum, the Agricultural Machinery Industry Chain Supply and Demand Matchmaking Meeting, the Engineering Machinery Remanufacturing (Second-hand) Equipment Economic and Trade Matchmaking Meeting, the Engineering Machinery Construction Equipment Heavy Equipment Technology and Business Matchmaking Meeting, and organize 15 to 20 inter-enterprise business negotiation meetings to “set the stage and perform” for Chinese and foreign investors and investors.

The 4th Changsha International Engineering Machinery Exhibition in 2025 will be held in Changsha from May 15 to 18, 2025.
