Application industries & materials

Industries
  1. Metal Mining Industry
In metal mining, the BOTM41 Mine – used Hydraulic Roofbolter plays a crucial role. After the excavation of roadways in metal mines, the surrounding rock often becomes unstable due to factors such as blasting vibration and stress release. This bolter can promptly carry out bolt support for newly excavated roadways. Through precise drilling and bolt installation, it enhances the stability of the surrounding rock, prevents roadway collapse, and ensures the smooth flow of ore transportation channels as well as the safety of workers and equipment. For example, in metal mines such as copper, iron, and lead – zinc mines, from the construction of development roadways to preparatory roadways and stoping roadways, this bolter is required for effective support, creating a safe and stable environment for subsequent mining operations.
  2. Non – metal Mining Industry
    • Coal Mining Sector
Roadways in underground coal mines are greatly affected by mining activities, and deformation and damage of the surrounding rock are common. The BOTM41 Mine – used Hydraulic Roofbolter can be used for the primary support of drivage roadways and the maintenance support of stoping roadways. During the drivage process, timely installation of bolts can effectively control the deformation of the surrounding rock and prevent accidents such as roof fall and rib spalling; for stoping roadways that are deformed due to mining activities, this bolter can carry out secondary support, enhancing the stability of the roadways, ensuring the normal operation of the coal transportation and ventilation systems, and guaranteeing the safe production of coal mines.
    • Other Non – metal Mines
For non – metal mines such as limestone mines and gypsum mines, during roadway excavation and stope operations, due to different rock properties and mining methods, the stability of the surrounding rock also faces challenges. The BOTM41 Mine – used Hydraulic Roofbolter can accurately carry out bolt drilling and installation operations according to different geological conditions and mining requirements, effectively supporting the surrounding rock of roadways and stopes, and improving the safety and efficiency of mining operations.
  3. Tunnel Engineering Industry
    • Railway Tunnels
Railway tunnels pass through complex terrains with variable surrounding rock conditions. In railway tunnel construction, the BOTM41 Mine – used Hydraulic Roofbolter can be used for primary support. It promptly reinforces the newly excavated tunnel surrounding rock with bolts, controls the deformation of the surrounding rock, and prevents accidents such as collapse, creating favorable conditions for subsequent lining construction. Especially when passing through adverse geological sections such as fault fracture zones and weak surrounding rock, the efficient drilling and bolt – installing capabilities of this bolter can quickly enhance the stability of the surrounding rock, ensuring the safety and progress of tunnel construction.
    • Highway Tunnels
The construction of highway tunnels also requires ensuring the stability of the surrounding rock. The BOTM41 Mine – used Hydraulic Roofbolter can carry out bolt construction operations according to the design requirements of highway tunnels and the actual conditions of the surrounding rock. By reasonably arranging bolts, it improves the self – bearing capacity of the surrounding rock, reduces the risk of tunnel deformation and collapse, and ensures the structural safety and long – term stable operation of highway tunnels.
    • Water Conservancy and Hydropower Tunnels
In the construction of tunnels such as water diversion tunnels and diversion tunnels in water conservancy and hydropower projects, the BOTM41 Mine – used Hydraulic Roofbolter can be used for surrounding rock support. Since water conservancy and hydropower tunnels often pass through complex geological areas, such as fault and fracture – developed zones, this bolter can enhance the integrity and impermeability of the surrounding rock through bolt support, preventing groundwater seepage and surrounding rock instability, and ensuring the safety and normal use of tunnel projects.
  4. Underground Engineering Industry
In the construction of some special underground projects, such as underground oil storage, gas storage, underground parking lots, and military underground facilities, the BOTM41 Mine – used Hydraulic Roofbolter can be used for the support of the surrounding rock of caverns. Through the anchoring effect of bolts, it enhances the stability of the surrounding rock of caverns, improves its bearing capacity, and withstands loads such as geological stress and explosion impact, ensuring the structural safety and normal use function of underground projects.
Materials
  1. Rocks
    • Hard Rocks
For hard rocks with high hardness such as granite, quartzite, and basalt, the high – performance rock drills equipped on the BOTM41 Mine – used Hydraulic Roofbolter can generate sufficient impact force and torque to achieve efficient drilling. By reasonably adjusting the operating parameters of the bolter, such as rotational speed and propelling force, it can adapt to hard rocks of different hardness levels, ensuring the quality and efficiency of bolt drilling and providing a reliable basis for bolt installation.
    • Medium – soft Rocks
In medium – soft rocks such as sandstone, limestone, and shale, the drilling operation of this bolter is more efficient. Its precise positioning system and flexible drill arms can quickly and accurately drill bolt holes that meet the requirements in medium – soft rocks. At the same time, the characteristics of medium – soft rocks enable better bonding between bolts and rocks, enhancing the supporting effect and effectively improving the stability of the surrounding rock.
  2. Bolt Materials
    • Slotted Bolts
Slotted bolts have the advantages of simple installation and reliable anchoring force, and are suitable for a variety of geological conditions. The BOTM41 Mine – used Hydraulic Roofbolter can accurately drill holes that match slotted bolts, and use a special installation device to quickly and firmly install the slotted bolts into the holes. The elastic deformation of slotted bolts generates anchoring force to effectively support the surrounding rock.
    • Resin Bolts
Resin bolts provide anchoring force through the bonding effect of resin anchors and rocks, and have the characteristics of fast anchoring speed and large anchoring force. This bolter can first drill suitable holes, and then accurately send resin anchors and bolts into the holes. By mixing the resin anchors, they are fully bonded with rocks and bolts, achieving fast and reliable anchoring to meet the requirements of different projects for bolt support.
